CAW excursion to Thailand, 17.12.2025–4.1.2026
The Club Ausländischer Weihenstephaner and the Association for the Promotion of International Students in Weihenstephan (Verein zur Förderung internationaler Studenten in Weihenstephan e.V.) have a wide-ranging network in over eighty countries around the world. The majority of our members and Alumni studied at Weihenstephan and are now working in exciting areas of the life sciences, which they are always happy to talk about during their visits to Freising. In order to see for ourselves and supplement the theoretical principles from the lectures with practical insights into the industry, we will be traveling to Thailand from Wednesday, Wednesday, the 17th of December 2025, to Sunday, the 4th of January 2026. You are cordially invited to accompany us. We charge a contribution of €1,000 per person for flights, accommodation, transport and guided tours. The remaining costs will be covered by the association.
Would you like to take part in our excursion? Please register by writing an email to verein@dercaw.de. Let us know your name, your degree programme and your semester. Please also tell us how you are supporting international students in Weihenstephan and why you would like to take part in the excursion. The number of places available also depends on the outcome of our fundraising campaign. Currently [as of 23 September 2025], we can offer two sponsored places. The CAW will review all registrations received by the end of October 2025 and then let you know whether we can offer you a place on the excursion. We look forward to receiving your registration!

We are also currently talking to sponsors to enable students to participate at student-friendly prices. You can also participate in our fundraising campaign.
